-Specs on the photo:
Pictured here is Commander Izumo of Antediluvian!
Photo was taken and edited by Dustin Hawkins of Retro Hawk Productions.
Costume and character were created by me, and I am also modeling the costume.
-Specs on the character:
Commander Izumo's story will be revealed as Antediluvian progresses, but she utilizes kabuki theater to harness fire manipulative abilities that were taught to her by her adopted Japanese father during the 1600s. She is now a commander on the time-traveling island of Antediluvian!
-Specs on the costume:
Everything shown was made by me in less than a week with the exception of the following:
-There is a leather dragon mask on the back of my head made by talented Spiral Fae Accents (Etsy shop: www.etsy.com/shop/SpiralFaeAcc… ) They are also on Facebook and are constantly making unique items and taking commissions!
-The white piece around my waist was purchased, but I fully intend to make a similar item once I have more time.
Specs on the crafting:
-The yukata top was created with traditional methods at standard male measurements (it ties into her back story) including hand-stitching and appropriate kise. The fabric's detailing is hand-painted.
-Most of the rest of the costume is pretty simply made, and also include kise where appropriate. If you are curious about any other piece of the costume, please let me know in the comments, and I would be happy to explain.
